First Visit

We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. In order to give patients the most thorough exam possible, digital films will need to be taken at this appointment. Dr. Spencer will evaluate the films and examine the patient to determine if there is a need for orthodontic treatment at this time. There will not be a charge for the digital films, or the orthodontic exam itself! This gives you the opportunity to experience our office and to meet Dr. Spencer and our team members.

This initial exam is to address the following questions that cover the basics of orthodontic treatment. We encourage you to ask questions as well.

• Is there a condition that orthodontics can address?
• Is treatment needed now or should treatment be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors have occurred?
• What treatment procedures will be used to correct the problem?
• Can treatment be completed without having permanent teeth removed?
• How long will treatment take?
• How much will it cost?
• How much will my insurance cover?
• What are my payment options?

We take pride in our patients leaving our office with a clear understanding of their specific needs, what treatment is needed (if any), the length of treatment, and the cost and insurance coverage. We will be happy to answer any additional questions.
